This resource offers a series of interactive activities designed to help learners recognise, sequence, and understand the months of the year. Students begin by sorting words into 'Months of the Year' and 'Not Months of the Year', building familiarity with month names.
Subsequent activities focus on ordering the first six months, the last six months, and then all twelve months from January to December. Learners use drag-and-drop mechanics to place month names in the correct sequence, reinforcing their understanding of the calendar year.
Additional tasks involve matching clues—such as 'Sixth month of the year' or 'Month before September'—to the correct month, supporting recall and comprehension of the order and duration of months.
