Languages teaching resources on Edzo
Languages (Modern Foreign Languages) became a statutory requirement at Key Stage 2 from 2014. Pupils in Years 3–6 must study a modern foreign language, most commonly French, Spanish or German.
The curriculum focuses on listening, speaking, reading and writing in the target language, developing an appreciation of other cultures and laying the groundwork for secondary language study.
